I love being a North East Photographer but also travel outside the region which I really enjoy. Usually it is for the NHS who I have a great relationship with thanks to shooting for their Business Services Authority several times over the last 18 months. My contact Nicky invited me to Fleetwood for a shoot which mainly focussed around their literature both in print and web based, the idea being to show people interacting with their brochures and e-materials.
Being a North East Photographer I spend quite a lot of time shooting for both large and small businesses in the region. It’s always nice to travel to other parts of the country though for a shoot, even more so when you get to work with such lovely people as the Business Services Authority. I have to say that the staff there were very welcoming and many willing volunteers stepped in to be models in the images. It seems like a great place to work and most importantly the staff there do a great job helping people with pensions and student bursaries.
Shooting commercial photography is an interesting and fun way to earn a living and it’s thanks to organisations like the NHS that I’m able to have such a varied and great job. Whilst in Fleetwood Nicky mentioned more shoots that will be coming up over the next year in Bolton and Newcastle which I’m really looking forward to!
